A card I have and love, but that doesn't qualify as career-contemporary is the 1967 Venezuela Retirado, in a Browns uniform.
Looks one hasn't sold since 2019, but I suspect that one would also have a jump in price for the next one sold 28 total graded PSA, compared to 3,800 1953 Topps

1940's or 50's Baseball Card Satchel Paige White House Coffee
What are the thoughts on this Satchel Paige "card" currently listed on eBay? I've been looking everywhere and can't find anything to support it being issued as part of a set or an advertising giveaway. Maybe a vintage prototype or something made decades later with a vintage look? Per the seller it measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches.
