Not sure if Bulagria Sport are safe to soak or not. Also not sure about the adhesive. If I recall correctly the adhesive is built into the album and you just wet it and stuck it. Is it water soluble?

In a perfect world you'd cut out around the card and soak it, but I don't feel it's safe to start with a Ruth.

Thanks. I have soaked many cards but will not chance it with the Ruth. Just hoping someone might have removed one.

They came in cigarette packs and were meant to be pasted into albums designed and numbered specifically for the set.

I had two of the albums, and soaked all of the cards off the pages on one of them to get the Ruth. You can't really cut around the cards because you will cut through the cards on the other side of the page. Just remove and soak the whole page at one time. When I soaked the pages of the album the cards fell right off the pages quickly. Hope you have have as good of luck as I did.
Larry

Good news, and congrats Larry. It looks like German gentleman with moustache will likely be detached successfully in the future.
