The Bowerman family owned an apple orchard and a bowling alley in Romeo. I was told that there had once been a sign as you entered town saying "Romeo home of Frank Bowerman Christy Mathewson's catcher."

The Pescha RPPC's are highly regarded among postcard collectors. The shot of Romeo is typical of the stuff he did.

I think 'ol Frank was pretty proud of that. Here is a signature I have. Im guessing when he signed it he was probably telling a story about Matty
