Hey I did debate on whether or not to include Alexander in the top tier. A really great argument could be made for Alexander to be included and I would have no problem if he was included.
As for LaJoie, he is definitely top tier for me. Considered to be the best second baseman in baseball history and Cleveland even named their team after him! Tony |

Alexander is ridiculously underrated. 3rd in wins, 2nd in shutouts, 5th in WAR for pitchers. Tied with Matty in the 1st stat and ahead of him in the later two. He is only one of three pitchers to win the triple crown 3 times, along with Walter Johnson and Sandy Koufax. The 1914 CJ is his first mainstream baseball card. |
