Any list that doesn't include Field of Dreams in the top 3 is automatically red flagged for me. Heck of a podium omission.

Trouble With the Curve is also a phenomenal baseball movie with a great cast.

Good call on introducing Sandlot at an early age. My girlfriend's daughter is 12 months old, and I've introduced singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame (while inserting "Indians" for "Home Team") to the nightly bedtime routine. Gotta start them young.

Everybody Wants Some is at the very top of my baseball list. It is actually one of my top five movies of all time.

It is a story about a college team in TX and the competition on and off the field. I played in college and it hits the nail on the head in so many different ways.

Field of Dreams has always been a huge huge movie for me, but as the years have passed the parts of the movie that I could really do without grow longer. The whole free speech school part? Like nails on a chalk board. Any scene with the brother whining. Nails on a chalk board. Even some of the James Earl Jones scenes are kind of ridiculous. But there is some true magic in the movie. Burt Lancaster alone is worth the price of admission.

And because who wouldn't want to see Billy Loes acting.

I don't mean to be a "kiljoy"....but, I dismiss the validity of any BB Movie list that does not include The Stratton Story.

This 1949 movie featuring Jimmy Stewart in the real life role of Chicago White Sox pitcher Monty Stratton (1934 - 1938), whose promising career was
cut short by a hunting accident. It is an exceptional movie. I highly recommend it.
The cast includes real BB players Joe DiMaggio, Bill Dickey, Gene Bearden, Jimmy Dykes, John Kerr, Wally Berger, "Peanuts" Lowery, Johnny Lindell, etc.

Plus, there is a very interesting back-story regarding Jimmy Stewart's career regarding this movie. If you are interested....stay tuned.

I forgot Sandlot. Absolute top 10 baseball movie. When he kisses Wendy Peffercorn (or whatever her name is), one of the best moves ever. Love Sandlot!

Cobb is garbage and doesn't belong anywhere on this list. And Bull Durham is way better than an "honorable mention".

I disagree with that list in so many ways, I can't begin to list them all. But the snub of The Sandlot probably bugs me the most.
