Yes, the flips can move. Also the larger sized holder PSA such as this one is a clam shell style, nearly impossible to open without destroying it, unlike the older small size PSA(or SGC) holders which were/are two halves just butted together with a sonically sealed seam.

I don't blame you for being pissed off...

Every aspect of that slabbing job is FUGLY.

I really despise the internal "baggies" they use.

Are these clam shell types easy to crack without potentially damaging the check? I would just as well crack it open and get it re-authenticated and not encapsulated to be hung as part of a display, than to get the tab back into place only to have it slide out again after it is hanging in a shadowbox display on the wall.

When you say they are clam shell style does that mean that the top fits over the bottom like a lid on a container or that it there is literally a "hinge" of plastic that allows them to close up into one piece?

I believe he means the top fits over the bottom and is then sealed. I've got one I'm trying to open now and it's nearly impossible.

Correct and they are very difficult to get open, actually without cutting with a saw, I have never gotten one of these midsize or the larger cabinet card size open. The smaller older card holders are a snap to open.
