I would just do what i have done. Make a high res copy of the check. Frame the copy and store the check in your safe/sd box. Check is safe and away from uv light
Below are check and framed copy. No one can tell the difference without inspection outside the frame.

I think that's a great idea. And the check looks soooo much better out of the slab!

Completely agree....

PSA has got to come up with a more attractive way to slab those checks. Very distracting, and not aesthetically pleasing.... especially for the price you pay them.

Why would they do that?
The wait times tell me that folks are just fine with the status quo.

Well, to each his own, I suppose. They are a corporation that puts profits ahead of all else. So perhaps they don't care about the sloppy appearance of these.

But that said, I believe the current crazy wait times are mainly for card submissions, and not for slabbed checks.

I agree with you about the appearance, but take a look at their basic slab - they have never been about appearance.
