[QUOTE=Mark70Z;1991150]Day 169 (June 17, 2020 – 169)

A 1960’s MLB American League Junior Major Leaguer youth t-shirt picturing several stars of the day. I’ve seen a similar shirt picturing some of the same stars, but in a different location also and some players have a different player image but haven’t been able to acquire one yet; shirt is likely from a different year than the one pictured.

This is a great item Mark! I have seen the exact same style with Clemente and others both on a T-shirt and also a sweatshirt, but have never been fortunate enough to land one.

Thanks! I've seen another example of Brooks on a shirt with some of the same player, but haven't been able to locate one. I haven't seen a sweat shirt, but it's likely that they made those as well.

I've seen a picture of a Clemente example on a T-shirt, but that's it. I don't think I've seen one pictured in your thread.

Day 177 (June 25, 2020 – 177)

On June 24th and 25th 1988 The Eastern Pennsylvania Sports Collectors Club had the 8th Seashore Baseball Card & Memorabilia Show held in Ocean City, NJ. This is a poster advertising the show and features Brooks along with Bob Lemon. Of course, these HOF autographs were free with your $3 admission to the show.

Mark....

While Brooks & Bob Lemon were signing free autographs in Ocean City, the Orioles played further north in Fenway Park.

Cal Ripken hit his 172nd career Home Run off Bruce Hurst that game, perhaps more importantly it also marked his 1000th consecutive game.

Here is the umpires lineup card:

Bill,

I was at that game.

I'll have to check if I still have the ticket stub.

The thought of me contributing anything to a thread like this........
The one and only Orioles ticket I have is from 5/25/88..... Why? It's the weekend series in Boston when the famous Billy FF picture was taken. What are the odds...?

Framed ticket with the card would make for a great display!

Default 1966 Bendix Beam Magazine

The Bendix Radio Division in Baltimore was part of the Bendix Corporation. A large part of their business was the manufacturing of commercial electronics for airplanes and automobiles.

The Bendix Beam was a bi-monthly magazine for employees about the happenings within the company. In Oct 1966, the magazine devoted about half of it's content to the newly crowned World Series Champions, the Baltimore Orioles. Brooks Robinson was on the cover, but the magazine had articles about most of the team. The articles were organized by position, including stories highlighting contributions by the pitching staff, infielders, outfielders and even the bench players.

Ironically, there is a note in the magazine that the October issue would be the last magazine printed and it was being switched to a newspaper type publication.

Alan,

I LOVE that magazine cover! I guess when you’ve never seen the publication with Brooks on the cover before everything will look great. Please keep me in mind if you ever part with this example. This thread is going to be great for research purposes (at least for me it is).
