1979 Topps
I love uncut sheets so I'd like to join in.
It's not nearly so exotic as the other posts in this thread...but I recently picked up a 1979 Topps uncut sheet. Was pretty nice to find it in the UK! I haven't gotten around to framing it yet. It's still in it's shipping tube so the photo is from the ebay listing. If someone is willing to educate me, how were uncut sheets made available for old sets? I get that strip cards needed to be cut in the first place. But for old Bowman and Topps sets, were they issued as special gifts to employees or did employees liberate them from the factory?
