Cannot believe this one is still dragging on without resolution after another half a year has passed... I would be pissed off as well.
I think you should raise a stink and threaten legal recourse or at least small claims court. Not sure if it's really worth incurring legal fees (perhaps not) but would definitely hit them with that potential outcome. You should not be out an extra penny... this is their screwup and they need to make it right. With the millions of dollars they bring in with each live auction, I cannot believe they are being this petty. You should bear no cost/responsibility, period!
