1955 Official Scorebook for the Witchita Indians.

The minor leagues had really nice looking scorecards in my view.

Day 136 (May 15, 2020 – 136)

I haven’t posted an Orioles nodder (bobblehead) yet so might as well start today. This is a 1961-1962 Orioles green color base.

While this isn’t really an Orioles only piece it has their logo on it, and I like it so here you go…

AND a Manny’s Baseball Land to add to the mix of the hodgepodge of items today.

Default 1961 Manny's Baseball Photos

Mark,

I like the Manny's photos, too. They are still relatively inexpensive and easy to find. In addition to Brooks Robinson, there are nine other Orioles in the set... Ron Hansen, Jim Gentile, Chuck Estrada, Marv Breeding, Jerry Walker, Gus Triandos, Milt Pappas, Jack Fisher and Jackie Brandt.

Mark,

No apologies, I have that megaphone too. If you have ever been to Cooperstown, NY and visited the Hall of Fame, you know that baseball related stores and shops line the streets. F.R. Woods is one of the oldest stores in Cooperstown.

F.R. Woods sold an All-Star photo pack in 1971, similar to the Jay Publishing packs. The set included two Orioles.

My favorite nodded style, the big head Oriole.

Unique item from the Baltimore Post Office is a stamper used to apply hand cancellation postmarks on First Day Covers, game programs, etc. back on 09/06/95.

I agree, just assume I like it all even though I may not say it every time. Same goes for you too Mark.

Thanks. I think that the great part of this thread, is that while we all collect Orioles items, the focus of our collections is all different. I've seen many items being posted that I don't personally collect, but still find very interesting. The stories behind some of the items just adds to the enjoyment each day. It's probably impossible, but would be great to get everyone together in person someday. Spring training in Sarasota???
