Thanks fellas. Letters like that are my absolute favorite kind of autographed collectible. Here's that other two-page letter from Waite Hoyt about Lou Gehrig. The second letter pictured is one of my favorites. Bill Dahlen's autograph can be tough to find. After 25+ years of looking for a good piece on him, I finally found this one. Really like the content. I'll post just one more picture, this one is a handwritten letter from Honus Wagner to Ford Frick. The content there is decent too.

You guys have me all fired up. Heck, I just remembered one more. I promise this is the last one. Candy Cummings is generally credited with inventing the curveball, but others also make the claim. Fred Goldsmith is one of those guys. Though I don't believe Goldsmith has a valid claim to designing the bender, I fell in love with his letter.

You'll see three letters from Cardinals owner Sam Breadon to Stan Musial (there's good stuff on his page!) who had just completed his first year in the bigs. Any of the letters pictured and also the Breadon letter can be my favorite depending on the day. I'm sure there are a few more on the site, but that's for a another day.
