I haven't heard Broders used in a very long time. It was used a lot in the mid-late 80's.

As a set builder, I am generally ambivalent about art cards. But, I do have two player collections and have picked up a few art cards for those collections.
While the Banty Reds tend to sell for more than I am willing to pay for an art card, I did manage to snag one for my Johnny Antonelli collection. It is really well done. Nice thick stock and good color and design. I also have a few Edward Vela art cards in my Paul Blair collection. They aren't as well done as the Banty Reds, but are still attractive cards and I am happy to have them. |
