Maybe the best all-time answer is Babe Ruth: 3-0 in the WS with an ERA of 0.87 (better than Matty.) Plus, he could do a little hitting to aid his cause. In the 2 years he pitched in the WS he yielded a total of 3 runs. He personally had 3 RBI in those games.
