I scored an epic pickup from Lelands that fits my collection to a tee...

A Base from the last game ever played at Crosley Field. Not sure whether it was 1st, 2nd, or 3rd... but it's something I undoubtedly gazed at with wonder from the stands, as a kid. These bases were very well-used for many games, so it surely had a long life at Crosley Field.

My best baseball memories involve going there with my father, during the early formation of the Big Red Machine. So this was a nice score, and one I can easily remember my Dad by. Impeccable provenance as well, having come from the estate of Reds' long-time Equipment Manger, Bernie Stowe.

Great pickup for your collection Mark. I often think about going to games with my Dad in the 60’s when I look at certain items in my collection. We are all really holding on to a piece of our childhood through collecting.

Holding on to pieces of our childhoods; letting go of our money.

Happy to add this chocolate box. I've only seen 2 lesser condition examples in 25 years.
