Default Germany Schaefer's "called shot" of his Walk-Off HR in 1906....show some of his cards

I'm surprised that no one has posted a T205 of Schaefer.
It's a colorful card....so, here you go.

Ted- What kind of stamp/puncher do you think caused those holes in your Uzit example? I think you might have owned another card like that too, no? Any insight?

Hi Mike

That tiny punch-hole pattern has been seen on a few other T206 cards. My guess is that the original owner of this Schaefer card punched holes
in his cards in order to distinguish them from other collections.
Many years ago, I acquired a 1933 GOUDEY collection in which some of the cards had one punch-hole, while other cards had two punch-holes.
The owner told me that he and his brother kept track of their cards in this manner.

Cool, thanks Ted. This multi-hole punch is actually quite attractive; pleasing geometric pattern.
