I don't keep my sets in binders but, if I did, the traded series would be with the binder. I say that because it was issued in pack form just like the base set. Had it been a separate box set (say '81 Traded), then I would keep them separately.
All my sets are in boxes and the traded sets ('74 and '76) are kept in the same boxes (along with the team checklists ('73 & '74).
