Could it be Ty Jr.? Either way - this pic below is from 1923 and if you look at what each boy is wearing they look similar, and like Scott said, the style of dress is too late to be Cobb.

I think Peter is right, it appears to be Ty jr. but could still be someone totally unrelated. But it certainly looks like a match to him.

I say no to Cobb Jr as well. Look at the differences of the ears and mouth between the two pics....Cobb Jr has big ears like his Dad, the photo at top the boy has tiny ears....The shape of the lips are also way different....

It's a photo in the upcoming Heritage Platinum auction described as a young Ty Cobb. ![]() Honest mistake by them, can understand the confusion. |
