i do not think a $5000 card moves the needle much for pwcc. might be a very large card for you but not for them.

My mistake above. I didn't meant 5k I meant 5 figure.....still not necessarily huge but bring me a 5 figure card for consignment and see if we can't get a point or two back?

i wasn't referring to your post leon. i know you meant 5 figures. the other poster said he brought them a "large" $5000 card. i just dont think pwcc thinks a $5000 card is all that large. $20000. yes.

With Ebay raising the fee cap from $250 to $750, the needle can't possibly budge until you get above the $7500 dollar mark on a card.
Even then, I have no idea how they make any money on their consignments without some genius level accounting tactics and money floating going on. I'd be curious what kind of fee break Ebay is cutting them, that the rest of us schmucks don't get. Doubt they are getting much of a break from the Paypal end either. |

8% toLess than $50 $5 + 10%
$50 - $200 15.0% $200 - $1,000 13.5% $1,000 - $2,000 12% $2,000 - $3,000 11% $3,000 - $4,000 10% $4,000 - $5,000 9% $5,000 + 8% PWCC is only charging 8% for a card that sells for over $5k. I don't see how they can go lower than that. Compare that 8% to the sellers fee that many of the auction houses charge. Even 15% or 13.5% for lower priced items is a good deal, considering that they do all of the work. I have an eBay store, and my eBay/PP fees total 12.05%. So, when I consider that on most of my items that are $200 or more, the selling price with PWCC will exceed the price that I would get by selling these myself, I usually come out ahead by using PWCC. On items that are $50 or less, I am usually better off selling them myself.
