Only 1 slabbed by any of the grading companies. Died tragically in 1965 at age 31!

Think this is my favorite this year. Enjoy the issue, the player, the pose, the condition, big fan of B&W in general, and loved that it's the "strike" rather than the "hit" card.

This is my favorite of 2018
With a total pop graded by PSA and SGC standing at 7.... I’m fortunate to own it. And it is without a doubt the most beautifully done postcard I’ve owned.
Someone was kind enough years ago to likely staple it into a scrapbook which causes the grade to be lower, but it’s better than tape or glue and doesn’t take away from the image, and likely helped preserve the image, corners, etc. I look at this card and can’t believe it’s about 110 years old. I only took ownership a few weeks ago and it felt like a great way to close out the year. Congrats everyone on your favorite pickups for 2018 and I hope 2019 will be kind to us all as well! A few of my favorites from 2018
I was fortunate to finish my run of catchers in the T205 set this year.
I also completed my subset of Chief Meyers T202s this year. In addition, I picked up quite a few P2 catcher pins this year. Just 3 pins left to complete the run.
