Clemente with signature reminds me of Kahn's hot dogs cards, but most of those have writing or stats on back.

I thought it might have something to do with Kahn’s. I was thinking some sort of display packaging. Does anyone have the full packaging from the hotdogs? My father swears he has seen the yellow one before but he can’t remember where.

The one kneeling is a picture used for a team issue and team issued 8x10s from the mid 60s. The portrait was used for team photos in the 70s. I have no idea what they were cut from, but I would suspect something that came directly from the Pirates as they are photos being re-used.

See attached example of 1963 or 1964 5x7 Team issue with the one pose - as Rats points out there was an 8x10 issued of the same image. Also a Ballantine 8x10 beer promo using the same image.
The other images are of unidentified origin, likely various team issues for various publicity events. These are mostly about 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. The image itself is obviously a much later (1971-1972) one based on the jersey he is wearing. I am curious if the signature on the one image you have is a facsimile or ink? I have not seen those exact crops that I can recall. So outside of what I have shared am unable to shed more light on your items. Did you get them directly from Jim? If so, did he share anything more about them? He was a very big Clemente fan. Hope that helps. Howard Ps - Purely speculating - given their small size and lack of any other identifying information I think it unlikely that they were cut from any type of packaging - I think it more likely they might have been cut from a magazine or publication of some kind. Thanks for the info Howard. Much appreciated. They went from Jim to Rich to me. I had a chance to ask him at the last show I did(2 years ago. Yikes)but it completely slipped my mind. I was more excited to sell him something(a team issue SMU set with a Hayden Fry) he hadn’t ever seen. Plus I got to hear all the stories about my dad in the hobby back in the day. I was like a kid in a candy store, too much info I hadn’t heard before. My favorite was hearing that my dad literally threw Mr. Mint out of a show for being a douche.
I love this board because of the knowledge that is shared openly here. I’m 100% that it is a facsimile on the B&W.

My gut tells me that the sepia toned card is a 1971 Milk Duds card. Someone did a nice job cutting outside the brown border.
