I had two ridiculous experiences with ebayers who were trying to convince me I should sell it cheaper. One guy prefaced every PM with repeating the fact that he is a respected autograph dealer who pays $450-600 for Cobb checks and has a customer who he plans to sell it to for $900 or less.

In any event, after fees I lost about $20 but was happy to divest myself of the angst associated with selling vintage baseball memorabilia.

Sooooo, you were supposed to feel good about selling it to him for $450 because he was only going to be reselling it for $900?

I believe that was the same joker on the bay who was constantly emailing me and telling me the same spiel when I had my Cobb on ebay. They're a dime a dozen and he gets them for $400-$600 on a regular basis. BLAH BLAH BLAH..Sold my encapsulated PSA 9 on here for $1125..could have maybe got a little more at a different time of year...but no 13% off the top and it was a win/win for me and the buyer... which it should be without saying..but unfortunately isn't always the case these days.
