I don't think there is anything comparable to ebay. That's why they get away with what they do. I see ebay and auction houses as two completely different animals.

Yeah....There's nothing that compares to Ebay. I've made a couple purchases on Etsy but not a fan of that site. Not sure what the advantage is of selling there. I assume the fees must be smaller...but so is the audience.

What's the commission an auction house would get if I wanted to sell for example: 2 mantle signed balls
1 that needs authentication 1 that already has authentication I imagine its higher for them to get the 1 ball authenticated. Is it more than the 13% Ebay charges? (10% Ebay 3% Paypal) |
