The 1959 Topps set was the FIRST vintage set I ever completed. I clearly recall picking up the Al Kaline All Star card to finish the set. I am sure I overpaid ($40.00) but the elation of fulfilling a dream seamed far more important. Sadly, this set doesn't get the love and respect it deserves. A VERY beautiful and colorful set!

1959 was the first set I finished, so I have a soft spot for it and it's accessories, including the many variations and variants
