Baseball in the 20th Century was blessed with a tremendous number of super-stars (hitters and pitchers). But, I think an important factor which set
the Yankees apart from all the other great teams is the superior leadership of their Managers......Miller Huggins, Joe McCarthy, and Casey Stengel. Shown here is the very rare 1910 COUPON card of Miller Huggins (this is the only one graded by PSA)...... ![]() ![]() Hey guys....let's see some more Miller Huggins' "oldies, but goodies" displayed here ? Is it just me or does Miller look like Bruce Willis on his T205?

And, you are correct regarding a T205 Huggins DRUM. According to my A = B = C = D pattern, there should be 32 subjects in the T205 set printed with DRUM backs. But to date, just 27 have been confirmed. Here is the T205 DRUM checklist...... James Austin John Bates Beals Becker George Bell William Bergen Russell Blackburne Albert Bridwell Mordecai Brown Harold Chase (border on shirt) Frank Corridon Thomas Downey Louis Evans George Graham (blue signature) Buck Herzog Richard Hoblitzell Miller Huggins Jack Knight A. Latham Thomas Leach John Lobert Briscoe Lord Patrick Moran Frederick Olmstead George Paskert Fred Payne Edward Phelps John Quinn Lewis Richie David Shean George Stone Zach Wheat Harry Wolter The above 5 names in bold have yet to be confirmed with a DRUM back. However, they have been confirmed with the A - B - C pattern. Therefore, I expect these 5 subjects will eventually be discovered with the DRUM back. TED Z . |
