I don't have a Huggins, but all of these stories about his influence on and relationship with Ruth/Gehrig makes me want to buy a Huggins card. I had no idea!

1923 was a great year for Miller Huggins and the Yankees. It was their 1st season playing in Yankee Stadium and the Yankees won their first World Championship.
The Scorecard in my World Series program is scored (4th game which was at the Polo Grounds). Yankees won it 8-4. In the 6-game Series, Babe Ruth batted .368 with 8 RBI's and 3 HR's. ![]() ![]() TED Z . |
