Thank you for the kind words, Rob...

It's taken a lot of patience, kind of a lot of money, and a bit of luck. I got into it just before the oversized market dried up, and prices of the really early ones exploded. So I consider myself very lucky. That said, I actually enjoy many of the more common '50s and '60s versions just as much as the oldies. Especially all of the cool "Stadium" variations.

That 1946 Brownie Pennant with the names might be my favorite Football Pennant of all. I don't have a ton of Football, but will try to post my best one in a few days.

Yes- both are phenomenal. I love the Mean Brownie mascot. Things are so bad for the Browns right now... maybe they should put the Mean Brownie on their helmets (just for good luck!)

Tremendous collection... welcome aboard!

Alright Showdawg...Love to see some football pennants on here. Phenomenal Browns collection. I have several of those myself. I believe I only have one Browns pennant that you're not showing. Know anything about this one? It measures about 26 inches long. The tip is sharp but not visible in the pic. Nice shape other than missing the bottom two tassels.

A lot of people only collect baseball and have no idea how difficult those early Browns pennants are. Early football is very difficult in general. Fantastic stuff guys.

Compared to early hockey... Collecting early football is a walk in the park. 😎

Hi all,

Quick question, anyone has contact info for Rick Haskins the pennant dealer? Saw his booth at the NSCC back in august, but didn't get his card and he has no online presence to reach out to. Thanks!

Rick actually posts here sometimes. His Red Sox Pennant collection is perhaps second-to-none. Jaw-dropping, to put it mildly.

I bet he sees this before too long, and contacts you soon!

Edit.... His screen name is "Ricardoh", if you want to try reaching out to him.

If he doesn't make contact with you and you still need his email send me a PM. I should have it.

I'm not really into selling at this point particularly my harder to come by pennants...but I wouldn't be offended if you shot me an offer. My plan is to sell everything upon retirement (unfortunately still about 20 years away) and using the proceeds to travel the world as long as possible...right now I could probably cover a 7 night Western Caribbean cruise.

Just curious...do you have any other teams?

I have seen that style of pennant before but not the Browns version.
