To me, that is the conundrum / mystery / value of unopened material. Only you can answer that question! Good luck if you do open it.

I don't really know what the most sensible or profitable answer to your question is? I only know that I could not, in any form resist..... OPENING IT!

What is the current retail on a 1967 cello pack?

If you don't need the money, get it graded and hang on to it, nothing is certain but I'd feel pretty comfortable that value will continue to increase.

Agreed. With Mantle and Carlton the only real star power in the 2nd Series, that's a real gamble. Then again, if you hit, that gamble pays off.

Wouldn't the Seaver RC be the biggest pull out of that pack? I would get it graded and keep or sell it. Probably about a 95% chance the pack is worth much more unopened than its contents will be.

It's a 2nd series pack. Seaver was in the 7th series.

I keep at least one unopened pack with each of my Topps, 1951 to 2016. Never tempted to open them since whatever is in them is likely to pale next to what I like to think is in them. I enjoy the mystery.

In that case definitely keep it unopened. There are so few left and enough people out there who collect the packs. If I were to open a vintage pack there would have to be a big potential upside, even if the odds are low. Like a 52 topps high series pack.

A 52 Topps high number pack would probably run you 40K to 50K now.
