Nice looking dog Octavio. The first pic is of our current rescue dog Bubba. We have had him close to 3 years now. I did not want a little dog(under100lbs) or a Pitbull but this amazing little guy sad puppy eyed me into taking him home from the shelter. He has been a great dog.

The second pic is our last 2 shelter dogs. We had them for close to 13 years each and I still miss them to this day. They where about 11 or 12 in that picture. Bernie the St Bernard was about 8 months when we adopted him. When I walked by his kennel he stood up on the gate and put his head on my shoulder. After that I had to take him home. After having Bernie for a couple months my Wife said he needed a friend. We went back to the shelter and while there Samson the Rottweiler was brought in because the owner was moving. We took him home.

This is Luigi. Also a rescue, originally a Puerto Rican street dog. He still has a lot of street dog in him.

Default Dog.............

Daisy.....12 lb, 14 year old mini schnauzer direct from the gates of Hades........
Nearly blind, nearly deaf and occasionally incontinent.

Photo right after she was groomed. An hour later she looks like a drunk
on a 10 day bender. But my girls love her.................

Moose is a 3 year old miniature dachshund and he’s ready for some football. I didn’t put the silly shirt on him, my wife did that.

Princess Dot and Lila Rose. They get the best of everything and their dad not only collects Prewar but is also a veterinarian. The doctor is always available for these kids.

As near as we can figure, Bo is a 12 year old redbone. He and I take a 2 mile walk every morning.

Love those dogs. And, they are very smart. Does yours burrow under the covers?

Yes, they are very smart dogs. We've had a few. And, yes, they all burrowed under the covers too.

I don't think Luigi would do too well on the street wearing that hat!!

Well, he hated wearing it, and this picture was taken during one of the split-seconds before he shook it off. That's his graduation picture from his puppy training class last year. And by the way, that's his teacher, not me, in the picture with the killer tats.

This is Maxx. One of our six dogs. We had a Smooth Fox Terrier, a Wheaten Terrier, a Chiuahua, and Maxx, a Jack Russell/Border Collie mix before we added my mother in laws 2 Schnauzers when she passed away on April 1 2016. Luckily, they do get along. Will have to post pics of other dogs when I get some.

While misplaced, this thread has been one of the most enjoyable ones I've seen...what a great bunch of dogs!

I adopted my rescue dog, a terrier-mix named Buddy, five years ago and my life has been ultimately richer ever since.

He a sweet dog who greets me with kisses every time I come home. It's impossible to stay in a bad mood when you get greetings like that.

We can all learn a little from our pets.

So, while Leon should move this thread (IMO) to the off-sports watercooler, we should not be scolded for enjoying it.

Here's my Buddy:

Wrigley and Ernie - both pics are a couple of years old and both dogs a bit larger now. Wrigley also has more gray around his muzzle. Ernie just turned 3yrs old, but still as no trouble walking under Wrigley.
