OK, I'm a little early for Wednesday's installment, but I have to get up early...so here it is:
426 Ken Singleton IA NrMt 461 Tim Cullen NrMt 401 Jim Nash NrMt Is that a fur-lined batting glove that Cullen has on? Is that what allowed him to hit .220? In 1968, Cullen was traded from Washington to the White Sox for Ron Hansen. Halfway through the season, the White Sox traded him back to Washington. For Ron Hansen. Those are the kind of moves that win GM of The Year awards...

Three more today! The Fregosi card would be the centerpiece of a collection featuring players with accordians. Too bad there isn't a Fanzone card with his harmonica...

Here's a few more for today! I was crushed when I heard the Cubs had traded Bill Madlock to the Giants...we haven't had a third baseman since then, until now. But Murcer quickly became a favorite, so I guess it worked out for a Cubs fan with low expectations anyway...
