That said, I just do not understand your follow-up comment, Jake. This fixation on pricing of cards on the BST runs completely counter to the spirit of collecting, in my opinion.

This crass focus on squeezing every last cent from either a Seller or Buyer really disheartens me, and makes me wonder if this is the future of our hobby. I would personally get no thrill from squeezing an extra $25 or $50 bucks out of a deal -- I would imagine most of us on the forum get our satisfaction from enjoyment of the card itself.

I am certain none of our fellow Net54 members would relish being called a 'sucker', either publicly or privately. I am also certain none of them deserve that moniker.
I agree its a great card, whoever bought the card had to have bought it for less than list price, i just think the person who bought the card would be a sucker if they did. In fact, I will give $200.00 to the person that bought the card that is subject to this thread if they in fact paid list price. However that person has a great eye for great cards either way. I have a feeling that person also contributes great things on net54 and should never be criticized. They also probably agree that Ichiro's countdown to 4000 total bases is the true measuring stick
