I enjoy his signature and think it's unique, but I can see how some may not. I think it should also be noted how great he is to the hobby. If you made a list of the top 10 elite players in the game he would absolutely be on it. He would also be the only one who is still a near 100% lock TTM. He responds to all of his mail over the Christmas holiday and is great in person.

I finally figured out after looking at his Topps RC, that the 4 is actually a combination of the "ton" in Clayton, and the first stroke of the "K" in his last name.

Otherwise, I've always thought his autograph looks like "C94U_"

Regarding the OP's question, I don't really like the signature. The "U" at the end is crooked (diagonal). In every authentic signature I've seen (except very early ones), the "U" is verticle (as in the pictures in stu060283's post), and has a more pointy bottom, as opposed to the square bottom in the OP.

Actually, in looking again at a 2008 Topps Kershaw RC, it looks like someone tried to copy the facsimile autograph on the card.
