The story is that the were made in the early 1900s, not the Old Judge period. Going by what others have gone for over the years, your buy price seems fair enough.
I agree with the previous post that I've never been a fan of these and related 1900s 'proofs.' However, they have regularly sold for a good amount of money, which is why I said the buy price is fair. Last edited by drcy; 04-16-2016 at 11:32 PM.
