Toss-up for me. The M110 was kinda spendy but it's high on my list. The PC796 is gnarly and was relatively affordable.

All great options. Truly, there are no "bad" Honus Wagner cards. Here are a couple other options to consider.

M116 - Blue or Pastel are nice portraits

E101, E102, etc batting pose is also pretty cool.

Good luck on your decision. Every collection needs a Wagner!

E107, JKA, W600, Texas Tommy type 2, American League Publishing... All amazing cards. One of those would be my pick.

If you can track down the owner and talk him out of it, the Allegheny would be great, if not, here's another one with great eye appeal and affordability:

That ALPC is a great card too. You should show yours, Jeff.

To add yet another of my favorites that hasn't been mentioned yet...

Default 1912 Colgan's Tin Top

I have a 1912 Colgan's Tin Top Honus Wagner SGC 60 in safe deposit box. According to PSA population, they have only graded 1 of this issue - ever, in all grades. Compare that pop to all the T206 Wagner's. The Skydash find had one that SGC graded, and I know of one other SGC graded copy in existence.

I'll have what Brian's having.

In terms of cards that are actually obtainable on a middle class budget like my own, the E92 throwing pose would be high on the list (posted above by David J.).

I'd probably go e107 here but if I'm wanting to be realistic, I'll go with the scarcest one I can find....

E107 if someone wants to buy one for me. E103 if I'm paying for it myself. The E90-2 is a great option as well though as are others mentioned.

What a great topic for a thread.

These two for me. 1902 W600 with Type 1 mount and ca. 1912 E300 Plow's Candy.

Brian,

I love the J=K Type I card. That one would be very high on my list along with the colorized Type II which is just a beautiful card.

This one isn't going to win any beauty contests but it is a one of one as far as I know since I haven't seen another since I had it added to the known checklist

I'm gonna put my two cents in and agree with A.J. on the 1914-15 Cracker Jack. (I sure wish I owned one!)

for me the second best Wagner is anyone with the same portrait pose. I used to have an E 90–2... I hope to replace it with another portrait card someday.

I always like the tiptop bread because it's like a jumbo t206!
