My Hero too:

The last time he flirted with danger, danger got clingy.

I'm gonna buy him out then hire an 80 year old man to sell them at a flea market with the "These were my dad's and they've been in the attic for years and I have no idea what they are worth so I will take $50 each for them" spiel.

Default In light of this

Public service announcement-
Have a conversation with your grandparents before it is too late. Obviously there are hundreds of Wagners and Ruths sitting comfortably in their attics just begging to be brought into the marketplace. Please, please, before they end up in an estate sale!

Some of them are people looking for reprints to sell off as authentic cards, IMO. I acquired a bunch of newer licensed reprints a few years back as part of a big collection and sold them all lumped together just trying to get rid of them. I can't tell you how many inquiries I got from people asking if I had more that showed wear, etc.

Why someone would pay $30.00 for a reprint when you could create your own is beyond me. But I do think some of them are people fully realizing they are reprints and selling at flea markets or to others at higher prices trying to pass them off as real.

This is unfortunate, but if people refuse to know what they are buying, then that is their issue.
