It looks like an ad cut to me.

It is a magazine cut that has been rebacked. I did a post on it a long time ago as I have a grouping of them I fixed up...they were cuts from a 1950s general interest magazine. I got a lot of 10 or so for under $10 a few years ago and i decided it would make a nice rainy day project to package them up ... I could probably find the title of the magazine with a little effort. And if anyone is interested in buying mine at a comparable price to what is being asked for the one on ebay, please send me a message. ;-).

As you can see, the font and design matches exactly, though the design is slightly different (copy at the top of the piece as opposed the bottom). I expect it was a series of articles that was done over a couple months.

When he Liquid drop tested it, it absorbed. Proving it was made of paper.

If you'll buy that, then you'll love this:

Wish he would have said what the liquid drop test was.

A real drop of water test/damp cloth test does work great to help rule out some type of counterfeits though. I don't know about strip cards but most T cards and almost everything from 1948-present it works great on.

How does this liquid drop test work? I've never heard of it.
