Spelling?
I am a bit surprised that we have gone this long without a discussion about how to spell XX's first name - is it Jimmy or Jimmie? (Or, did I just miss it?) Also a bit surprised that neither of these 1934 Butterfingers has been posted yet. (I don't know why they are different size in the scans; neither is Canadian as they are both the same size in real life.)

Foxx and Gehrig were both proponents of weight training for baseball decades before it became acceptable. Here is Foxx in the 1939 offseason, ACME photo:
 I know the signature is not Foxx but I like the card just fine nonetheless  BTW, Alan, that is a great snapshot; have you considered cleaning it?
