I'm under the belief that $50 and $300 are the long term levels for 9's and 10's respectively, though both will get a small bump this month and this summer. The card was printed too heavily to rise and hold much higher, but as the most iconic card of a generation the popualrity itself can sustain those prices. If you paid $300 for one now it's not going to be $1000 in 10-15 years, but it's also not going to be $50 or $100.
Sidenote: I think BGS 9.5's are actually a good buy at ~$200, a price they can easily be found at.

Almost universally ungraded. A little tougher than some modern issues to get a 10 with this card (respectively), but easy to pick the good from the trash. The biggest issues that effect this card (the snow print defect, the holo, and l/r centering) can be picked out in seconds. If you win a lot of ten or more, you are most likely buying someone's 7's and 8's.
