I got this card from Joe's son Bob about 20 years ago.

I believe the consensus in the end was that it was NOT Joe Wood in these photos. But an interesting discussion none the less, regarding some Bloomer Girls photos, f.w.i.w.

What a thread!! Makes me want to pick up another Smoky Joe for the new collection. There are so many great cards in this thread it's hard to keep up. It's one great one after another great one.

Awesome stuff guys. I really like those Sporting Life cards. Here's a couple of mine. First is Joe as a mascot with the Ouray, Colorado team. He's the little kid in the white. Plus Joe, with the Ness City, Kansas team, seated lower right.

That's awesome. I have family in Ness City and always loved the connection, but have never owned a Wood. It might be time to pick one up. Great thread!
