Just kind of watch the auctions and figure out what you like. I always encourage people to buy what they like and not what others say they should like. Buy high quality and you will never go wrong.
Pennants are great because there are so many different styles and price points compared to other collectibles. Also, great examples are fairly rare and tough to find. They also display incredibly well with almost any current collectible you might already have. Good luck competing against some of these sharks.
