Wow Josh. That is simply an insulting bid. I will gladly offer $25 and offer apologies to the Op for your low bid. Maybe this should be moved to the auction section?

I will agree my last post was a bit childish, but I think the consensus is that we are all sick of this thread. I think it is time for it to go away. Just consign the card and then let everyone know where you consigned it. You have created plenty of publicity for it and then let it ride on auction. Just my 2 cents worth, but the longer this thread stays here, the more childish the comments will get. That is a relative certainty

If I recall correctly I offered you $18,000 for this card within 3 days of your order being graded. I also made strong offers on the other items in the order (which I won't disclose because you haven't made them public ).

I deeply regret that offer after reading this thread.

Hindsight is 20/20 right?

always amazes me as buyers seem to think the first offer can never be the best offer....i have plenty of offers on cards listed on ebay that get marked down to what i offered for them months earlier

plus if the seller cant get more than i offered and come back to me i no longer what the card at that price knowing my offer scared away all the buyers as the seller was using my offer against other buyers.....its lose lose...

Robert, unless you are finding all the stupid comments entertaining, perhaps you should just start a new thread and hope people won't pile on this time.

The same thing would happen. It's amazing I have always bought never sold I try to sell one card and this is what happens. Me thinks that I will stick to buying.

Stupidity on display can indeed be entertaining, which is why I asked Robert.

If I started another thread they would just jump over there. Next month there's a big card show here on Long Island think I will go and consign it with an auction house because this is just crazy. It's at 20K and will stay there.

Once we got to a point around 200 posts ago, the general rules for a BST transaction were mostly out the window. This isn't a dictatorship, contrary to what a few might think, or a loosely run board (imo), and the rules are always guidelines which should usually be followed. I am fairly sure most members don't want a stale place? And I have had more than a couple PMs and emails asking me to lock this thread. My question is why? It is 1 thread on a page of 35. If you don't like it, skip it. If it gets way out of control, in my opinion, then maybe something else will be done. I/we never like to lock threads. That's my half cent....I bid $10k !!

This is a great suggestion. List the card, price, and perhaps ask those who aren't interested not to comment.

And if this is an auction now, I'll bid 11k

Everyone's stupid except the OP who can't convince any of the "dozen or so people" who estimate the card to be worth 25-35K to pay 18K for it.

It's not 18 anyway it's 20k guess you can't read moron. Plus most of the people making comments don't have the money anyway and really need to keep there comments to them selves. Plus you're real tough on the computer are you not how about in person?

if sell at the low end...25k and buy for 18 even the '20k' thats being asked..thats only a poor 5k profit.....dealers need to make money too...how they going to make money if only making 5k on the card at worst and only make 15K at best....c'mon they need to make a living too..
