I recently picked up a 1974 OPC Johnny Bench PSA 9. It is the only PSA 9 of this card.

Bunch of great cards yall!
That's pretty solid centering on the 52 Topps Ashburn. The ines ive seen are pretty gnarly centering wise.
And the 53 Bowmans are just stunningly beautiful cards.
Congrats on both!

The centering on that 52 is freaky rare.

Love all the bats in the BG of the 53B Ashburn photo, cool image.

Copped this off eBay auction last night. Could've added a seasick tilt-y 9 the other day at a nice price, but decided to pay a premium for the nicer 8; liked the minimal tilt and way the three white borders looked so even at the bottom area of the card around the black name box. Always liked Mick's glare in this shot.

How anyone could ever authenticate a Greg Maddux autograph short of watching him sign it escapes me. He should have been a doctor............

Did you crack a 9 out to get that or submit in the holder? How many 9s did you send in to get the 10?

That was in the back of my mind too. What was the card graded prior to being awarded a 10. I have become too much of a skeptic with extremely high graded cards, especially when the card is resubmitted and lands a 10. Really ? If you're a big player with the PSA registry, looks like PSA payed it forward to you. I'm curious what was seen in the card THIS time around that wasn't seen previously.

That could also be the signature for Xavier Nady........

p.s. not disparaging your card Rob.....just Maddux signature........

Default Brooks

Surprise pick up at lunch today. (Sorry for big pic). Lower grade, but the price was right. Decent centering. Very slowly but surely working on '57.

Very nice pick up!! Those 1974 OPC cards are tough to find compared to other issues from that time.
