This is one of my favorites because it has a nice clean back. Definitely fun cards to look at.
![]() Thank you to everyone who has shared thus far. Cheers, Steve PS - I hope the attachments upload properly...I'm trying to do this from my phone. I think they are appearing way too small... Last edited by brass_rat; 07-02-2015 at 04:30 PM. |

This is a Type 1. 2 similar condition Type 2's closed on eBay this afternoon for over $300 each. They had writing, heavy wear, and a hole punched in the card.
I bid on them, but I didn't think they would go for more than $150 each and I was at work when the auctions closed, so I was blown out of the water. It is surprising how many of these cards, both Type I and Type 2, have a hole punched in the card, and 2 numbers on the back, with a line through one of the numbers. I wonder if these cards could be redeemed for something, such as tobacco or cigarettes? I haven't been able to get a T214 yet, but it is on my want list, along with a Type 2 Red Cross. Rick

Mine too, I just remember buying a small group of cards from a collector from Arkansas that was at the show and I am nearly certain his name was Jerry as well.
