Best way to price a card is definitely looking at the ebay history of the card. Just go under "Category"--> select "Completed Items" and "Sold Items".
Also helps to search the auction house history like REA, Sterling, etc. when it comes to the rarer cards/backs. I would ignore SMR, Beckett, and T206.org for pricing.
