I was just going to post this same question as it was just listed on eBay for $22,000.
I have some concerns about both the Babe and Claire signatures. Claire looks very slow and not much flow. I've compared her handwriting to other checks and this one seems a bit different. The Babe's signature looks good at first glance but 2nd G in George looks a little shaky. I'm no expert but when I compared it to other checks from 1946 and 1947 I do have my doubt's. I would be interested in hearing from some of the experts on this forum B.
