Thanks, the Blass piece was the only item I won in that auction. I certainly drove prices up for them. I always seem to be the bridesmaid never the bride in their auctions.

Picked up this James Jeffries glass lantern slide. It was from a 1927 silent movie he was in.

Thanks and best of luck to you in landing one. 1956 was such a great year for uniforms with Cincinnati going to this, the Cardinals going without the "Birds on the Bat" and Washington opting for the 3-D logo and numbering. The 1956 All Star Game in Washington would have been a sight for the ages.

stopped by an antique store about a mile from the hotel where Carlton stayed on his Jersey trip two years ago and found this. No markings except 3 of 75

base is chipped and it doesn't look new. Looked all over the internet and could not find it anywhere.

Not historically right as the jersey spells out New York

Are the 1956 Reds road uniforms of the same flannel material as other uniforms of this era? It could just be the pictures but of the couple I have seen, it appears that the material that makes up the body of the jersey is a bit different. They almost appear to be a double knit polyester. But like I said, maybe it's just the photos. Thanks.

Original vintage Sandy Koufax photo in front of his locker after perfect game September 9th 1965. Photo taken by renowned Dodgers photographer Frank Worth. Also has " playing days" cut signature from 1965 or 1966.

On ebay for just about a month with no takers so I called them and offered them a deal. Worked out for all of us. 1920-1921 Plaleagball Ring Toss Games 26 x 40 beautiful graphics that will only get better after it goes to the conservator to get cleaned.
