1 -- Boog Powell was one of your "grandfather's" favorite players. Man, I'm getting old, he was one of mine also !! I remember one play were an infielder threw him a simple ground out to first. Boog missed played it and caught ball in his arm-pit. The umpire called the runner safe. Which brought up an interesting baseball rule. Whereas you can catch a fly ball with your cap, or jock strap, you must catch a force-play cleanly with your hands.

Boog and Brooks is all I heard about growing up. Boog was always friendly at the games. Growing up, this was in the 80's, Brooks Robinson seemed like he was always doing signings at a gas station on Patapsco highway in Baltimore.
