I'm pretty sure Leon invented the message board right after Al Gore released the first version of the Internet.

It's similar to a T3, or... a thread with a pinhole at the top (ie. a pinned topic).

Can't tell if that was sarcasm so, A sticky thread is when a thread stays stuck to the top of the page even when other threads get responses. A thread moves down the page otherwise. "Stickies" are generally used for the most important things. I prefer not to use them except in extraordinary situations. I think they clutter the place up.
