A humble suggestion
 
A seperate or sticky thread on Net 54 for New Members to introduce themselves. Many message boards have this feature already

I'm pretty sure Leon invented the message board right after Al Gore released the first version of the Internet. :D

Before that we need to get a separate thread for people who spend all day looking at strange, weird and sketchy eBay items and then spend all night posting them here.

It's similar to a T3, or... a thread with a pinhole at the top (ie. a pinned topic). :)

Can't tell if that was sarcasm :) so, A sticky thread is when a thread stays stuck to the top of the page even when other threads get responses. A thread moves down the page otherwise. "Stickies" are generally used for the most important things. I prefer not to use them except in extraordinary situations. I think they clutter the place up.
