Beer & Baseball, now that's a combo.
While not a card, this is a neat display piece I have hanging in my bar area. Its probably from the late 40's as Heilmann died in 1951. The next year he was inducted in the Hall Of Fame. His baseball stats are very impressive as he hit .403 one year and another at .398. All told he played 17 years and had a career ave of .342

Reminds me of the days when Ballantine was the primary New York Yankee sponsor. And announcer Mel Allen would call every Yankee home run a Ballantine Blast!

That Heilmann piece is amazing! I can't stop looking at it and love the colors! It makes me want to get into my "secret time machine" so I can meet Harry on July 7th!!!!
